Shrubs

Fast growing. Height to 20′. Width to 4-5′. Likes afternoon shade. Reddish, exfoliating bark adds additional interest.

Fast growing. Height 12-15′. Width 3-4′. Likes afternoon shade. Emerald green color holds well throughout winter. Densely compact, columnar form with twigs arranged in vertical planes.

Height 2’. Width 3’. Full Sun to part shade. Dark red foliage, which it features throughout the summer. Leaves change to orange, red and yellow in the fall months, and hold their color in full sun.

Boxwood – Green Velvet     Height 3’-4’. Width 3’-4’. A full-bodied boxwood well-suited for dense, low hedges. Foliage retains its rich green color throughout winter. Develops a vigorous, rounded form if not pruned. A wonderful evergreen that will provide year-round, cold-hardy color and structure in the garden.

Height 3’-4’. Width 3’-4’. An evergreen shrub with small, glossy, rich-green leaves. It grows naturally into a mound up to 5 feet tall and 3 or 4 feet across, but it is easily clipped and is mostly seen in gardens as a clipped hedge.

Hydrangea – Endless Summer     Height 5’. Width 4’. Deciduous shrub well known for its ability to flower on old and new growth. Shades from blue to pink, depending on the acidity of the soil. Acidic soil-blue blooms and alkaline soil-pinker blooms.

Hydrangea – Little Lime     Height 3’-5’. Width 3’-5’. Sibling of Limelight, Little Lime is a petite rounded shrub with lime green blooms opening on strong stems with no drooping. Excellent as a mass bold planting. Soft green flowers turn pink and burgundy in fall. Excellent for cutting.

Hydrangea – Vanilla Strawberry     Height 6’-7’. Width 4’-5’. Enormous flower heads are a blend of vanilla and strawberry. The movement of color begins with vanilla-white becoming pink, ending with a strawberry-red as night temperatures drop. Upright growing, then cascade later in the season. Excellent for fresh or dried flower arrangements.

Height 8”-12”. Width 6’-10’. ‘Blue Chip’ has a particularly good blue color. If on a standard, this plant will eventually mound to 12″ or more before cascading down to the ground.

Juniper – Blue Star     Height 2’. Width 3’-4’. Attractive sparkling blue foliage on dense, spreading branches. Creates a colorful contrast to purple and green foliage plants. Use in a rock garden or as a low border plant. Ideal for mass plantings in minimal-care landscapes.

Fragrant, solitary, white flowers with pink tints appear in spring after foliage emerges. Flowers may produce a sparse amount of black-ish purple fruits in July that birds enjoy.

In the fall it changes back to a colorful display of oranges and reds. Pink flowers cover the plant in late spring.
