Height 3’-5’. Width 2’-3’. A cool season clumping grass with narrow leaves that are dwarfed by flower stems which rise 2-4′ above the foliage. One of the earliest grasses to appear in the spring. One of the first grasses to show signs of life in the spring. Showy feathery plumes. Wheat colored seed heads are great for flower arrangements.
