Mugo Pine     Slow growing. Height 3’- 4’. Width 5’-8’. Zone 3. Full Sun. Mounding, hardy wind proof conifer. Long needle-like leaves in rich, dark green bunches. Produces solitary or small clusters of reddish brown cones in summer. Dense, upright habit of growth. Excellent for form, texture and color in the garden. Prune off new candles in June to maintain the same size.
